(5) Contracts Valued at less than $100,000,000

(5) Contracts Valued at less than $1,000,000,000. For any contract awarded by DoD valued at less than $1,000,000,000, the Secretary of Defense may:

 

    (i) Establishestablish goals for the transition of Phase III technologies in subcontracting plans; and

 

    (ii) Requirerequire a prime contractor on such a contract to report the number and dollar amount of the contracts entered into by the prime contractor for Phase III SBIR projects.
