increase the number of SBIR Phase II contracts that lead to technology
transition into programs of record of fielded systems;
(ii) Useuse incentives in
effect as of December 31, 2011 or create new incentives to encourage agency
program managers and prime contractors to meet the goal set forth in paragraph
(6)(i) above; and
(iii) Submitsubmit the following
to SBA, as part of the annual report:
(A) Thethe number and
percentage of Phase II SBIR contracts awarded by DoD that led to technology
transition into programs of record or fielded systems;
(B) Informationinformation on the
status of each project that received funding through the Commercialization
Program and the efforts to transition these projects into programs of record or
fielded systems; and
(C) Aa description of each
incentive that has been used by DoD andDoD, the
effectiveness of the incentive with respect to meeting DoD's goal to increase
the number of SBIR Phase II contracts that lead to technology transition into
programs of record of fielded systems.
