We recommend keeping your search terms simple because many times what you are looking for is expressed somewhat differently
than you might expect.
The default for this search engine is "and", so if you
searched on: temperature sensor, the system would look for any document that had the words
"temperature" and "sensor". Documents with "tempature sensor" will have a higher score and be listed first but the words
don't have to be in that order, so this search criteria would also
find a document with the sentence: " A sensor that gives more accurate temperature measurements....
" as a hit with a lower score.
Try your search from various perspectives using different terminology because the technologies may often be
stated in terms different than your original search criteria.
Do NOT use punctuation or hyphenate words! You can find hyphenated terms such as "thin-films" by
entering thin films without the hyphen.
